Updated White Apple MacBook outdoes unibody counterpart in Benchmarks
Apparently the newly updated white Apple MacBook actually outperforms its more expensive unibody counterpart. The guys at MacWorld ran some benchmarks and have found the 2.13GHz white MacBook runs roughly 5% faster than a 2GHz uinbody MacBook.
They also found the 1.8GHz MacBook Air was a staggering 12% slower than the white MacBook, although the 2.4GHz MacBook Pro did fair better and offered 10.5% better performance.
The biggest difference showed up though was in Quake 4 performance as the MacBook Pro’s NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor along with 256MB GDDR3 memory was roughly 82% more fps than the white MacBook.
